Ola Aina jinks his way into the box and cuts it back for Igor Jesus, who slams in a first-time shot from 12 yards. Alisson gets both hands onto it to knock the ball onto the crossbar.

An inventive spin in the opposition box from Liverpool right-back Jeremie Frimpong to lose Neco Williams but he's tackled by Murillo.

Cody Gakpo gets to the byeline before cutting the ball back. Dominik Szoboszlai steps over it and Alexander Isak knocks the ball into Victor Munoz.

Not sure if it was a bad bit of control or an intentional pass from Isak. Anyway Anfield debutant Munoz shoots over from 12 yards.

Forest striker Igor Jesus has been a real handful so far but he goes a bit far here by clipping Alexis Mac Allister so gets booked.

I just think Liverpool are slightly predictable at this moment in time.

They need to find a way of Alexander Isak involved, Liverpool have to try and stretch Forest.

I've enjoyed some of Forest's diagonal and crossfield balls today - and Matz Sels' long kicks upfield. Not afraid to get the ball in the air.

It's much better from Liverpool since going behind but they could really do with getting on level terms before half-time. Nottingham Forest started well but Andoni Iraola's side are starting to create openings and chances now.

Very laboured from Liverpool. Such slow build-up.

Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has only touched the ball four times. No other outfield player for either team is even in single figures.

Liverpool are yet to have a shot on target in this game - because the disallowed goal doesn't count obviously.

Good run from Liverpool winger Victor Munoz, who starts in his own half before bursting forward and into the box. But he's already stumbling and losing his footing as he goes down in the box.

Forest back on the attack now and Ola Aina dries a ball with his shirt before another long throw. But Liverpool clear this.
