    Ollie Robinson fancies entertaining the Edgbaston crowd as he peels off conseuctive fours of Muhammad Abbas.

    The first is a stylish chip down the ground over mid-on. The second slightly more fortuitous via an inside edge.

    In any sport when your egos are hurt and you know you're not going to win a contest then that's the worst feeling possible.

    There needs to be some balance or fight. For Pakistan there has been no spirit or comeback here.

    Excellent chance for the players to mention the "batting unit" in that instance, Dave.

    It's probably more demoralising if you know any one of those players with a half-century in the first innings could get a hundred in the second innings, I guess.

    From a bowling team's point of view is seeing batter after batter hit 50+ more or less demoralising than someone getting a big ton even if the final score is the same? Just wondering.

    Muhammad Abbas slips down the leg side and Pakistan wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghori, stood up, cannot get a glove on it.

    Four byes is the result which takes the tally to 18 in England's innings.

    Final delivery of Abbas' over and Smith effortlessly plinks him over mid-on for a one-bounce four.

    Mohammad Imran is full to Gus Atkinson who attempts to drive the Pakistan seamer but the ball fizzes under his bat and the England batter hears the dreaded death rattle.

    Brilliant innings from Jamie Smith! He's really starting to find his form again after a tough period since the Ashes. Big fan of his and hopefully we hear less talk about his position.

    Skiddy from Razaullah Khan, who finds a bit of zip off the surface and Jamie Smith rather wafts at a delivery outside off stump.

    Razaullah has got something about him. He's been a tad expensive but he is a little raw.

    He is too short to Gus Atkinson later in the over, though, who swats a half-tracker through mid-wicket with aplomb.
