I think England will be delighted to be chasing 191 given it could have looked a lot worse. India will be slightly disappointed they are not above 200. Their middle order got carried away in the moment and did not recognise the situation. England have to get them, so it's poised for a good game.

    India 190-7

India started like a train but some fine bowling and good catching has pegged them back.

How are we feeing about that? Let us know via the Get Involved section on here.

    Harshit Rana c Buttler b Archer 6 (Ind 190-7)

Harshit Rana flashes at a short one outside off, but gets a juicy edge through to Jos Buttler.

  5. Ind 190-6published at 19.5 overs

A rapid bouncer isn't called wide, and a slice goes to third where India run a single.

Harshit on strike for the last ball of the innings.

Jofra Archer has a tendency, coming back to bowl at the death, to get caught up in in the idea of bowling slower balls. I'd be going full and quick, or using the bumper.

  7. Ind 189-6published at 19.3 overs

Tilak Varma reaches to a wide one outside off stump, but still gets enough on it for glean a four to third.

Tilak Varma smashes Jofra Archer into the stands twice in succession as India wrest back the initiative!

I've been really impressed with Josh Tongue. He's taken to international cricket well and looks the part. He's a reliable bowler if he can stay fit.

  10. 6 runs

    Ind 173-6published at 19 overs

The 19th over is an entertaining one - that run out, a questionable wide, some good stuff from Josh Tongue - and then Harshit Rana clatters a full toss for six over long on.

India really have fallen away here. Has the pitch changed as the ball has got older and softer to hit. Maybe that's why they are struggling to time it.

I think Jos Buttler was aiming at his own stumps, but got the bonus of hitting them at the non-striker's end.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16:07 BST

Axar Patel run out 2 (Ind 165-6)

India's innings is falling away here!

Aaxar Patel swings and misses, but goes for a quick single.

Jos Buttler hurls the ball at the striker's end, but the ball scoots past the stumps and clatters into the stumps at the far end with Axar not even in the same postcode!

    Brilliant or freakish?

  14. Ind 161-5published at 18 overs

Tilak Varma and Axar Patel eke out a couple of singles as Sam Curran ends a great spell, 3-32 off his four overs, his best T20 figures in England.

Josh Tongue will take the 19th over.

Sam Curran doesn't celebrate his wicket and keeps things calm, unlike other bowlers. That is really a good habit.

I'm not surprised by that. As an outfielder myself, there's going to be a point where you hit the deck, but the cameras can't see your fingers underneath it.

  18. Not outpublished at 16:01 BST

Nope - the ball went through Archer's fingers and touched the ground, so Tilak Varma remains.

Jofra Archer might have hit hurt his hands trying to take that. I wouldn't be surprised if this is given not out.

  20. Umpire reviewpublished at 15:59 BST

Jofra Archer takes a fine catch to get rid of Tilak Varma in the deep - but did he take it cleanly?

    We go upstairs...
