The Test match is taking place at Lord's Cricket Ground in St John's Wood, London.

Starting at 11:00 BST on Friday, 10 July, the Test is scheduled for four days until Monday, 13 July.

Why is it historic?

This Test match is historic as it is the first-ever women's Test to be played at Lord's.

The venue has previously held 150 men's Test matches. The most recent was the opening game of the three-match Test series between England and New Zealand last month.

Worcester's New Road holds the record for most Women's Test matches held with nine. The Oval has hosted six, while the County Ground in Taunton and Scarborough's North Marine Round Ground have also held five each.

They have faced each other more recently, playing in a one-off Test in December 2023. India won by 347 runs in Navi Mumbai.
