
Truce shattered in Ethiopia’s Tigray war
Fresh fighting has disrupted the humanitarian truce between the Ethiopian government and Tigrayan forces
Renewed fighting has erupted in northern Ethiopia between government and regional Tigrayan forces, breaking a five-month humanitarian truce.
Also in Angola, citizens await the election outcome as provisional results suggest that the governing MPLA's has the lead with 80% of votes counted, according to the National Election Commission, while the opposition movement; Unita has just under 43%.
Plus in Uganda, an organisation lobbying for the music sector, The Ugandan Musicians Association have petitioned the government, to ask for a larger share of money generated through the use of their music as caller ring tunes, also referred to as ‘Caller Ring Back Tone’ - or CRBT.
