UN Goodwill Ambassador Sabrina Dhowre visits Kenya farmers

Somalian-Canadian Sabrina Dhowre is helping to draw attention to the threats to rural communities.

Somalian-Canadian model Sabrina Dhowre, in her role as goodwill ambassador for the UN’s International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), is on a trip to Kenya and Somalia to draw attention to the increasing threats to the livelihoods of rural communities.

The Islamist militant group, al-Shabab, has said it carried out the latest attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, targeting a checkpoint on a road which leads to the city's airport.

Plus 100 years since archaeologists found the tomb of the boy king Tutankhamun, a new exhibition showcases the crucial role played by Egyptians in its discovery.
