Ivory Coast: Covid-19 vaccine rollout begins

Healthcare workers will be first to receive the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Ivory Coast is amongst a number of African countries who have signed up for the global Covax programme which aims to provide vaccines to the world's poorer countries. The country plans to distribute an initial half a million doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
