It's a huge weekend for Arsenal fans, as the club gets ready to play in Saturday's Champions League final.

Fresh from winning the Premier League, the Gunners are hoping to lift their second trophy of the season - and be crowned European champions for the very first time.

But, it's unlikely to be an easy 90 minutes of football for Arsenal.

They face last year's winners Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to retain the title for a second year in a row.

Arsenal finished the Premier League season as champions - seven points clear at the top of the table.

They lifted the trophy at Selhurst Park on Sunday, after they played Crystal Palace in their final game.

It was the Gunners' first time winning the title in 22 years, after finishing the season as runners-up three years in a row.

They'll now be hoping that they add another piece of silverware to their collection on Saturday.

In 2006, Arsenal became the first London team to appear in a Uefa Champions League final - but were beaten 2-1 by Spanish giants Barcelona.

Paris Saint-Germain won the 2025 Champions League final, beating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final to lift the trophy for the first time.

Arsenal will be hoping their good Champions League form this season continues.

They're the only team in the competition who have not lost a single match so far.

The Gunners have scored 29 goals, and have only conceded six - the best record this season.

For the first time ever, the 2026 Champions League final will be held in the 67,000-capacity Puskas Arena, situated in Hungary's capital, Budapest.

It is named after the country's legendary captain Ferenc Puskas, who has also has Fifa's award for Best Goal of the Year dedicated to him.

The match will kick off at 5pm UK time on Saturday afternoon.

Uefa have said the decision to switch from the usual 8pm kick-off is to "enhance the matchday experience and benefit fans, teams and host cities".
