EPISODE 16: CLAIRE'S STORY...

Claire frantically looks for her father when her mum fails to recognise her or Mr. Muggles, but Mr. Bennet is away on business. When Claire gets Lyle to show him what's going on with their mum, Mrs. Bennet turns around and instantly recognises them both.

Claire's mum is acting very strangely

Claire explains to her mum that her memory lapses might be caused by something else, but her mum won't listen and says that "dad's in charge." As they talk, her mum collapses.

Claire's dad tells her he's protecting them

Claire tries to tell a doctor the truth of what's going on with her mum, but the doctor doesn't believe her. When Mr. Bennet arrives, Claire screams at him about erasing her mum's memory. He denies it at first. But as she continues to make a scene in the hospital, Bennet then tells her that what she knows is dangerous and that he was just trying to protect his family.
