Paul and Gail

The Walney Voices Team

Meet the team: Paul, Gail and Suzanne.

The team's car

The BBC Radio Cumbria team who will be based on Walney Island for the duration of the Voices Project are producers Paul and Gail
O'Neill, who together have over 40 years broadcasting experience.

Gail is Barrow born-and-bred and spent 10 years of her life living on Walney Island.

Paul was born in the North East and is now an adopted Barrovian having worked and lived in the Furness area for over 15 years.

Suzanne
Suzanne

Joining Gail and Paul on the island regularly will be Suzanne Worthington from the BBC Cumbria webteam. Although originally from Solihull in the West Midlands, Suzanne has also now made her home in the Furness area.

The team will be based at Army Cadet Walney Island Detatchment, Central Drive Community Centre, Walney Island.
