What you can expect
Step 1 - Apply
Once you've read the job advert in full, click 'Apply now'. There may be some screening questions as part of the application - these are designed to give us a better idea of whether you have the key criteria and for you to decide if the role is right for you.
Step 2 - Screening
We use various screening methods to ensure we find the best talent for the role. A member of the Talent Acquisition team will review your application against key criteria and support the hiring manager with shortlisting. The process may include assessments, such as online screening tests or situational judgment tests, to evaluate if you meet the key criteria and help you determine if the role is right for you.
Step 3 - Interview
We want to get to know you and your skills, knowledge, experience and strengths. We also want to hear why you think you'd excel in the role and why you're interested in the BBC. You'll be provided with more detail on what to expect.
Step 4 - Assessments
Depending on the role, there may be additional assessment stages. This could be a job-specific exercise or task designed to give you the best chance to show us what you're capable of.
Step 5 - Offer and onboard
If all goes well, the job is yours - we can’t wait to welcome you to the BBC!
