TRACKLISTING. SUNDAY 12/02/2012

Our guest in todays's show was rising Birmingham rap star Romo - who knew he wanted to work as a musican from age 8. By a stroke of luck his mother herself is a Soul/R&B vocalist so instead of the standard "when are you going to get a proper job" response most aspiring artists get from their parents, she encouraged Romo every step of the way. His track "Get Mine" which we played during the interview pretty much tells the story of his career to date. He not only writes, sings, produces and acts but also contributes to local projects encouraging musical creativity in schools. Romo was picked as 2011 Rapper Of The Year by Birmingham's Talent project and a debut album is in the pipeline for this year.
