TRACKLISTING. SUNDAY 31/07/2011

On this morning's show we met Ben and John from Gaoler's Daughter - who dropped by the studio earlier in the week before rushing off to Camden for a gig. They graced us not only with their presence, but also by their presents - in the form of a couple of band t-shirts.

We also unveiled a couple of tracks we've been saving up from two of the best sessions we've heard all year. A killer version of Illiterate - the debut single by the captivating and outrageously talented Tanya Auclair - and another mini masterpiece of economy from the new EP by Sheffield's Low Duo.

The keen ears of regular tipsters Bethan and Target brought their usual weekly infusion of excellent taste, and friend of the show Arun Sethi recommended a track from Jeeks that's so funky it should come with a health warning. And our guest bloggers courtesy of NowPlaying@6Music were Alex and Moz from the excellent WeAreSME.co.uk.

Here are all the tracks we played on the show - along with those ever-helpful links to the artists' very own websites. Enjoy!
