You can send patterns, knit for your local hospital or help Leighton Hospital. If you can help, eMail me at chris@rayofhope.co.uk or telephone 01270 582187. The Special Care Baby Unit at Leighton Hospital, Crewe would welcome the following items: • Bonnets (with and without scanning flap) StampsBecause of postage costs involved in sending care packages to the various hospitals around Britain, we're looking for UNUSED British postage stamps. Any UNUSED British postage stamps you'd like to donate could be sent to me at: Christine Cooper *NOTE - Stamps must be UNUSEDDonationsAs well as welcoming patterns, wool or completed items, Haslington Ray of Hope can accept cash donations. We have already received some in lieu of flowers from funerals (thank you for thinking of us), and a lady in Sandbach did a pub crawl on our behalf... we also receive support from more conventional activities like coffee mornings. Donations should be made payable to "MCHT 36601 Ray of Hope" and can be sent to the same address that is listed above in the paragraph about 'stamps'. If your local hospital's special baby unit has any special requirements, please let us know and I'll post them here.
