He's the best tennis player in the world, but how did he get there? BBC Sport's tennis correspondent Russell Fuller travels to the birthplace of Jannik Sinner in the Italian Dolomites to meet the people who made him a world beater.
Sinner grew up in a small village in the mountains, that was once part of Austria and where German is the main language.
He could have become a professional skier, but at 13 years old he moved to the other side of Italy to to chase his dream of becoming a top tennis player. The young Sinner had to get to grips with speaking Italian and English and has gone on to become a four time Grand Slam Champion and an Italian sporting icon.
