OK, so the roof is being closed on Court Philippe Chatrier between the first and second sets.

Doesn't look like it's raining now and I'm not sure if it's expected imminently.

Either way, it will make the conditions a lot more predictable. The wind really caused some havoc for both players in the first set.

Excellent defence at the net by Felix Auger-Aliassime means Flavio Cobolli can't get a passing shot by him.

If you missed it, the big story of the day so far is the quarter-final exit of women's world number one Aryna Sabalenka.

    *Auger-Aliassime 2-2 Cobolli

Goodness me - the wind is REALLY picking up in Paris.

Flavio Cobolli hits a shot which Felix Auger-Aliassime looks to have well covered but it holds up in the wind and almost goes back in the direction of the Italian.

You can see the clay being blown around and it's far from straightforward playing in these conditions.

Cobolli holds to level the first set.
