Men's third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime will be on Court One shortly for his second-round tie against Croatia's Dino Prizmic.

The Canadian hasn't advanced beyond the second round at Wimbledon since reaching the quarter-finals in 2021 and warmed up for the third Slam of the year with last-eight defeats in 's-Hertogenbosch and Halle.

He beat Alexander Shevchenko in straight sets in round one.

20-year-old Prizmic, the world number 89, recovered from losing the opening set to beat Adam Walton in four sets on his Wimbledon main-draw debut.

  2. Krejcikova holdspublished at 17:37 BST

    Krejcikova 4-6 2-1 Andreeva*

That's better from Barbora Krejcikova as she punishes a return with a crisp forehand down the line.

The 2024 Wimbledon champion stutters with a backhand into the net but makes amends with a winner on the following point to hold.

  3. Andreeva holdspublished at 17:33 BST

    *Krejcikova 4-6 1-1 Andreeva

Barbora Krejcikova is making too many errors at the moment but Mirra Andreeva's superb defence is consistently making the Czech play extra shots.

The Russian fifth seed levels in the second set with a fine backhand winner across court.

  4. British pair made solid start to title defencepublished at 17:32 BST

    Navone/Vallejo 3-6 0-0 Cash/Glasspool*

British duo Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool have started the defence of their Wimbledon men's doubles title on court five.

Seeded third this year, they've made a good start to their first-round match against Mariano Navone and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo, winning the first set 6-3.

  5. Osaka's outfit dazzles fans againpublished at 17:32 BST

Naomi Osaka was in fine form today as she sailed to a 6-3 6-2 win against Anastasia Gasanova.

Before that, she treated fans on court two to her latest pre-match outfit, which was again inspired by her home country Japan.

Dressed all in white again to comply with Wimbledon's dress code, Osaka wore a white jacket with floral decoration with material which trailed behind her.

“I took a trip to Japan one day, then obviously you go to Harajuku and you see everyone expressing themselves through clothes," said Osaka.

"I don’t really ever have a plan when it comes to clothes. I think it’s OK to try something and fail, but I’d rather just try it and see how it goes.”

    Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-7 (7-10) Gauff

Coco Gauff will face fellow American Claire Liu in the third round.

    Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-7 (7-10) Gauff

    Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC Two

It is incredible for a two-time major champion to have that reaction after a second-round match. It is unbelievable what that means to Coco Gauff.

She's had difficulties on this surface, losing in the first round at Wimbledon last year and having not won a match on grass in a couple of years.

It will be a heartbreaker for Solana Sierra. She won't sleep for a couple of nights, her mum won't either.

  8. Game and first set Andreevapublished at 17:26 BST

Mirra Andreeva is playing some lovely stuff now as she follows up a slicing drop shot with an ace, before winning the set with a backhand winner down the line.

The Russian fifth seed will be tough to beat if she keeps this up and she's showing why she is the reigning French Open champion.

  9. Britwatch - former champion Skupski wins in doublespublished at 17:26 BST

    Harrison/Skupski 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 6-4 Etcheverry/Kestelboim

    Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-7 (7-10) Gauff

    Emily Salley

A huge sigh of relief for Coco Gauff as she avoids another early Wimbledon exit.

She was made to work for that one, but it’s all worth it in the end and she’s got a beaming smile on her face.

The Court One crowd give Solana Sierra a huge cheer as she walks off. She came so close to knocking out the seventh seed.

    That was some finish.

Coco Gauff trailed 7-4 in that tie-break but won six points in a row to avoid a major upset.

Huge credit to Solana Sierra for making a real match of this but the world number 56 from Argentina fell at the final hurdle.

Goodness me, the drama of the last couple of hours. She was gone in that tie-break, wasn't she?

    Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-6 (7-8) Gauff*

The mini break is handed back again after Solana Sierra goes all in down the line but cuts it wide.

Stunning stuff from Coco Gauff to go up a mini break.

The American is stretching as she steps back over the baseline but hooks a winner into the corner.

    Remarkable!

  16. 'Sierra starting to get a taste of the big time'published at 17:21 BST

    *Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-6 (7-7) Gauff

    Sam Smith
Former British number one on BBC Two

Solana Sierra hasn't played too many of these deciding set tie-breaks. She has even forgotten to change ends! It happens to all of us.

I wonder if she can channel what she did at Roland Garros when she beat Jasmine Paolini from a set down? That was the best win of her career. She is starting to get a taste of the big time.

  17. Tie-breakpublished at 17:20 BST

    *Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-6 (7-6) Gauff

Solana Sierra goes big on a backhand from the middle of the court but she lets out a scream in frustration as it crashes back off the net.

Can Solana Sierra keep hold of it this time?

She can. Some serious pressure building on Coco Gauff now.

  19. Andreeva holdspublished at 17:19 BST

    *Krejcikova 3-5 Andreeva

Mirra Andreeva moves up the gears as she earns three break points before Barbora Krejcikova plants a volley wide at the net.

The Russian fifth seed then holds to love with Krejcikova unable to consistently get her returns into play.

The momentum is with Andreeva right now.

  20. 'Gauff doesn't seem too willing to take much risk'published at 17:18 BST

    *Sierra 3-6 6-3 6-6 (5-4) Gauff

    Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC Two

It is almost like the win is on Solana Sierra's racquet because she is the one taking all the risks right now.

It seems like Coco Gauff is just getting a lot of balls back in play and defending once again. She doesn't seem too willing to take much risk.

It depends who can execute and if Sierra can keep that consistency.
