    Transfer deadline day is upon us and today is the final chance for your EFL club to finalise any business until January.

    The transfer window closes at 23:00 BST, so we might have some late night scrambles to get deals over the line.

    There has already been plenty of movement this summer and whether it's a busy or quiet day for your club, you will be able to keep across it all on BBC Sport.

    Barnet defender Danny Collinge has signed a new "long-term" contract with the club.

    The 28-year-old joined Barnet in 2022 and has made 160 appearances for the Bees, scoring 17 goals.

    He was part of the side that won the National League title in 2024-25 and featured in all but three games last season.

    Manager Dean Brennan described Collinge as a "serious leader" and said the new deal rewarded his importance to the squad.

    "I think the club's on a really good trajectory and it's something I want to be a part of," said Collinge.

  6. Kenlock signs new Barnet contractpublished at 18:02 BST 3 August

    Barnet defender Myles Kenlock has signed a new one-year deal at The Hive.

    Kenlock, 29, joined the Bees in 2024 and helped them win the National League title and promotion to League Two.

    He missed much of last season after rupturing his ACL.

  7. Tavares signs Barnet contract extensionpublished at 18:12 BST 20 July

    Nik Tavares has signed a contract extension with Barnet that will keep him at the League Two outfit until the summer of 2028.

    The South Africa-born 27-year-old has become a mainstay in Dean Brennan's side, making 37 appearances last season as Barnet narrowly missed out on reaching the play-offs.

    Having initially joined the club in the summer of 2024, this is the second contract extension Tavares has signed.

    "The club's been a perfect fit for me," Tavares told the club website, external.

    Brennan added: "Tavs' deal shows the progression of the football club and how we value our top players."

    Tamworth have signed centre-back Joe Rye on a permanent deal from League Two side Barnet after a successful loan spell last season.

    Rye, 22, played 22 National League games for the Lambs in 2025-26.

    He joined Barnet from Worthing in 2024 but only made four senior appearances for the Bees, spending time on loan at Chelmsford City and Boreham Wood as well as Tamworth.
