Leyton Orient have made it a double swoop with the signing of forward Dane Scarlett from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has made the permanent move away from Spurs following four previous loan spells at clubs including Portsmouth and Oxford United.

There certainly is, John - as we mentioned a few minutes ago, the only remaining team with a perfect record in the Championship have made Oliver Skipp one of the latest signings of the day.
As for Barnsley, they've released a statement saying their approach to the window has been "defined" by what they "chose not to do", including rejecting "multiple seven-figure bids" for Cleary.

Oliver Dovin has signed on a season-long loan after Nathan Baxter picked up an injury in the win over Wigan Athletic.

Per sources, I believe it’s virtually a done deal for Davis Keillor-Dunn to go to Sheffield Wednesday. He will be in for the Owls.
Keillor-Dunn, who shone in the first half of last season for Barnsley - scoring 16 goals in total, will hope to kick-start his career back in Yorkshire after failing to find the net during his seven-month spell back in Wales.

The 25-year-old made 68 appearances for the Foxes after he arrived from Tottenham in August 2024.
Skipp started his career at Spurs and played 77 games for the north London side between 2018 and 2024.
He also featured 45 times in the Championship on loan at Norwich City in 2020-21.

Hull City owner Acun Ilicali has just told us on BBC Radio Humberside “£8m plus add-ons” is what they’ve agreed for Sorba Thomas in response to reports out of the Stoke end that the deal is worth £10.5m plus add-ons.

The 21-year-old returns to Pride Park on a permanent deal, returning to the club having had two spells on loan with the Rams.
He becomes the club's third signing on deadline day, following Eiran Cashin and Mohammed Fuseini, and has put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Brentford have agreed a deal to sign winger Kiefer Gorman, 17, from Watford.
The move went through earlier today and is expected to be announced tomorrow.
The move sees Gorman jump from the Championship to the Premier League but it is initially an academy signing, with the Bees understood to be excited by Gorman's potential.

Image source, ShutterstockBristol City have signed Oxford United midfielder Brian De Keersmaecker on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
The 26-year-old Belgian scored twice and provided five assists in 26 games in the Championship for the U's last season, who were relegated to League One, but is yet to appear for Aaron Ramsey's side in this campaign.
De Keersmaecker joined Oxford from Dutch club Heracles Almelo in July 2025.
“He will give us more options in the centre of the pitch and help us with our squad depth and create some more versatility," said Robins sporting director James Ellis.

Image source, Getty ImagesPortsmouth have signed Tyrese Shade on a three-year deal from Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 45 games in all competitions for the Brewers last season.
That was Shade's only season with the League One club, having joined from National League side Eastleigh in the summer of 2025.
He previously had spells with Solihull Moors, Swindon Town and Walsall.

A number of loan signings in League Two that have been announced after the 11pm deadline to keep you abreast of.
Swindon Town have signed left-back Dan Butler on a season-long loan deal from Stevenage.
Rotherham United have brought in George Sebine from Huddersfield on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.
Accrington Stanley meanwhile have signed Aidan Borland from Aston Villa, while Gillingham have signed midfielder Zech Obiero from Leyton Orient.

The 23-year-old has made over 80 appearances for Rangers since his arrival from Aberdeen in 2024.

Image source, ShutterstockPreston North End have signed striker Johnny Kenny from Celtic on a four-year deal - and have also brought in midfielder Liam Gibbs on loan from Norwich City.
Kenny, 23, netted six goals in 14 games while on loan at Bolton Wanderers in the second half of last season.
Meanwhile, Gibbs has made 100 appearances in a five-year spell at the Canaries, playing 19 games in the Championship in the 2025-26 campaign.

Stoke City

The 27-year-old Wales international scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 52 games for the Potters after arriving from Huddersfield Town in June 2025.
He was named as the club's player of the year in his debut campaign at the bet365 Stadium.
“Although we are naturally disappointed with the way it has ended after just one season, I do understand that Sorba had an opportunity to play in the Premier League which, over the past few days, he has expressed a firm desire to take," Stoke sporting director Jon Walters told the club website, external.
“We all thank him for his efforts last season and wish him well for the future.”

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Reading where he made 46 appearances.
He is the third loanee to join from Brighton this summer, joining Seagulls teammates Harry Howell and Tommy Watson at the King Power Stadium.
