Allan says the 20-year-old centre-back has offered to help him settle into life in the UK.
“He [Reis] sent me a message, when there were still some rumours going on," Allan said in an interview with the club.
“We still haven’t talked about what it’s like here, but he said that when I arrived he would give me attention and talk to me and explain to me how it works.”

Weird that Munoz would say 'Forest is a winning club' having won nothing since 1990 yet Palace have won three trophies in just over a year.

Image source, Manchester CityIn an interview with new club Manchester City, Allan Elias said: “We followed the team a lot there in Brazil because of the beautiful football which Manchester City plays.
“When Pep [Guardiola] was still here it was pretty much that famous tiki-taka, so I followed it a lot and I really liked to see it.
“I have followed the Premier League a lot, I watched City a lot of games and there’s no bad game in the Premier League.
“Brazilians have good examples here, so I believe we arrive confident to give our best, to deliver the maximum and be another good Brazilian here in the Premier League.”

Munoz one of the best RWB's in the league for the last few seasons, but having just hit 30, he's getting slower and never quite got back to his best after returning from injury mid-last season. Think Palace have done some good business here.

“I’m really excited because I can see so much talent, Forest is a team with great players, great qualities and great skills on the pitch, I can’t wait to get out there so I can help my new team-mates and I think that we’re going to do great things.
“The first thing is that this is a winning club. I think that when this is the expectation, the mentality, both for the management and the technical team, and for the players, this makes it special.
“It is a club that’s fought hard in recent years, it has competed hard, it got to the semi-finals of the Europa League and I think it has even greater objectives for the future, and really this is what I like about Forest, and that’s why I decided to come here.”

The 30-year-old moves from Crystal Palace, where he worked with now Forest boss Glasner, on a three-year deal.
He joined Palace in January 2024 and helped them win the FA Cup and Community Shield in 2025. He was named player of the season in 2024-25.
Munoz made 46 appearances in all competitions last season, featuring in the Premier League 29 times, scoring four goals and assisting three time. Palace lifted the Conference League trophy that season.
Munoz has represented Colombia 51 times since his debut in 2021. He featured at two Copa America tournaments and was part of the Colombia squad at the 2026 Fifa World Cup.

Manchester City have spent over £230m so far this summer with Elliot Anderson arriving from Nottingham Forest for £116m and Ayyoub Bouaddi joining for £85.6m from Lille.
City are in talks with Liverpool over a move for Dutch forward Cody Gakpo and are keen to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
However, City have raised over £286m in player sales with 2026 World Cup Golden Ball winner Rodri making a £65m move to Barcelona and Tijani Reijnders joining Al-Qadsiah for £52m.
Nico Gonzalez and James Trafford also commanded significant fees, while Omar Marmoush's loan to Tottenham includes an obligation to make the move permanent next summer for £60m.
Speaking about his move from Palmeiras to Manchester City, Allan told the club website: "This is a surreal moment for me. Manchester City, with everything they have won over the past 15 years, are one of the most attractive clubs in the world for players. To be able to sit here today and say I have joined them is the proudest moment of my life.
"I love Palmeiras and always will – but the decision to come to City was an easy one.
"I want to be the best footballer I can be and the conversations I’ve had with the people at City so far has convinced me there isn’t a better place for me to fulfil my ambitions.
“I want to promise the Manchester City fans I will give absolutely everything to make the most of this opportunity."
Manchester City have paid an initial £32m plus £2.2m in add-ons for 22-year-old Brazilian winger Allan, who has signed a five-year contract.
Allan is a direct replacement for compatriot Savio, who completed a £75m move to Tottenham Hotspur last week.
The right-sided winger scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 96 appearances in all competitions for Brazilian top-flight side Palmeiras after progressing through the club's youth system.
