Watch the goals as Thistle reach play-off final

Partick Thistle will play St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership play-off final after recovering to beat Dunfermline Athletic.

With Tuesday's first leg at East End Park having ended 1-1, Scottish Cup finalists Dunfermline led on aggregate through Charlie Gilmour's first-half strike at Firhill.

Logan Chalmers tapped in to bring Thistle level after the break and Alex Samuel headed Mark Wilson's side 3-2 in front on aggregate.

Neil Lennon's Pars could not find parity and their focus will turn to playing Celtic in next Saturday's final at Hampden.

Partick will host St Mirren on Thursday, with the return leg in Paisley the following Sunday.

Championship runners-up Thistle last featured in the Premiership in 2018, the year St Mirren were last promoted to the top flight.

Craig McLeish's Buddies complete their regular season at home to Dundee United on Sunday (14:00 BST). The Paisley side were consigned to second bottom place on Tuesday, despite winning at Aberdeen, with 10th-placed Kilmarnock defeating Dundee to seal safety.

What they said

Partick Thistle manager Mark Wilson: "We certainly didn't want our season to go out in a whimper. Dunfermline started the stronger. We had to make tough decisions at half-time.

"What a reaction. You saw a spark, an energy. The goals might be a bit fortuitous. I'm fortunate that we recruited well.

"St Mirren are a good side. There's real strength in that St Mirren side. We're confident in the way we do things."
