Well, that's all from the 2025-26 Irish Premiership season - and what a campaign it has been.

After 38 matches in a gruelling season, Larne have been left to celebrate a third title in the space of four years.

We'll be back next week as Coleraine take on Dungannon Swifts in the Irish Cup final, so the football isn't over this season just yet.

Larne captain Tomas Cogrove on BBC iPlayer: "It takes a lot from the staff and everyone behind the scenes to win a league title. You see how happy everyone is. The sun is out and it's a perfect day.

"You use whatever motivation you can. I knew what the squad could do and what the playing staff could do. The best team always wins the league, and we've come out as the best team. It's really satisfying. Everyone wrote us off when Kenny Bruce left and when Tiernan left, but Gary stepped up."

He also reveals his partner is due to give birth tomorrow, so that will be a weekend to remember!

All is not lost for Glentoran in their chase for an automatic European place.

Ironically, their hopes lie with Coleraine.

If the Bannsiders beat Dungannon Swifts to win the Irish Cup next week, then the second European place for the league will drop down to the side in third place, which is Glentoran.

In that case, Linfield (already in the final of the play-offs thanks to their BetMcLean Cup win), Cliftonville, Dungannon Swifts and Carrick Rangers will be fighting for that final European spot.

However, if the Swifts win, they would claim the automatic European place and Glentoran would be consigned to the play-offs.

The drama doesn't stop.

Meanwhile, on the north coast, here's how Coleraine made it six against Glentoran to secure second place and European football.

Larne won't be the only side celebrating today - but not too hard for Coleraine as they have an Irish Cup final next week!

Larne manager Gary Haveron on BBC iPlayer: "It's really special. I'm born and bred in this town and you know what it means to me. These players and staff are exceptional. Everyone was talking about us falling away, but they underestimated what we have as a group and a community. More fool them.

"It was gritty and resilient. There were injuries to key people and suspensions at the start of the season, but we knew if we could be competitive then we could finish strong. The 18 games unbeaten were the backbone. We just crept up to get to the top and then you are there to be shot at."

What a night this has been for the Inver Reds.

Every player received a huge round of applause when they entered the pitch to collect their medals, but arguably no one received a better reception than manager Gary Haveron.

I can't even begin to imagine the pride he must feel guiding his home club to this year's Premiership title.

Each of the Larne players take turns lifting the Gibson Cup aloft to a chorus of cheers.

All you can see is smiles all around Inver Park. The celebrations have officially begun and will go long into the night I'm sure.

Tomas Cosgrove lifts the Gibson Cup alongside his Larne team mates as champagne flies everywhere on the Inver Park pitch.

Inver Reds fans will remember this day for a very long time.

Pure ecstasy from Larne fans, players and staff alike.

Larne goalkeeper Rohan Ferguson, speaking on BBC iPlayer: "That could have been a nervy old game but I thought the boys were absolutely superb. I'm glad we won it in the end and got over the line.

"We have a lot of good people in that changing room. That is what has got us over the line. The forwards stepped up. I only touched the ball a couple of times. Andy Ryan and Matty Lusty stepped up.

"I think we flew under the radar a little built but we quietly went about our business. What a day."

The Larne staff and players are beginning to make their way back out onto the pitch for the trophy presentation.

Each player is being introduced individually to a chorus of cheers and applause before making their way to the podium where Tomas Cosgrove will lift the Gibson Cup.

The delay between the Gibson Cup arriving and players coming back on the pitch has given the Larne fans a chance to celebrate amongst themselves.

There have been plenty of hugs and some very bad dad dancing on display.

It's the best day for these players, it's everything you work for. The fans are giving them everything you would want as a player. The players and Gary have been phenomenal all season, and now it is party time.

The trophy presentation is just moments away.

The Larne players are back in the dressing room for the time being, awaiting the podium to be constructed before making their way back out onto the pitch for the trophy lift and celebrations.

I have followed the Irish League my whole life and I can safely say that is the most unique way I have ever seen a trophy delivered.

The helicopter has arrived in the centre circle at Inver Park with the Gibson Cup visible for all to see!

Larne striker Andy Ryan on BBC iPlayer: "We done half the job last week at the Oval but we knew coming into this we had the other half to do. There was a lot of noise coming from the outside about what could happen, but we done what we done all season and focused on ourselves. It was a really professional performance.

"It was a bit of a turbulent season, going back to the very start, losing the manager and Kenny Bruce was leaving. We are a close-knit group and we stuck together."
