    Ipswich have made a couple of attacking changes with Jack Clarke and Chuba Akpom coming on.

    Clarke, who scored the last-minute winner in a 2-1 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League last month, makes an instant impact with a purposeful run at the Gunners defence.

    He pulls the ball back and Anis Mehmeti does the rest with a composed finish to give Ipswich fans something to cheer.

    That second goal for Brentford just before half time really knocked Reading. They were giving a good account of themselves and creating chances, but have yet to get going in this second half.

    Arsenal are handing out a thrashing. It becomes 4-0 in less than an hour with Mikel Merino scoring a fourth, curling a strike past Christian Walton.

    Gakpo gets it, pulls it left hand side of the penalty area, strikes across it into that far corner. It's a wonderful finish.

    Power, precision. He just stands there like it's something he does all the time.

    Liverpool are in control as Cody Gakpo adds a second, the ball moved from right to left on the edge of the box before Gakpo whips a fierce strike into the far corner.

    Honestly Spurs haven’t played badly here, they are just so devoid of confidence though in front of goal. They need an ugly deflected effort to get them back on track.

    The negative Spurs fans need to have some perspective. We’ve come 17th two seasons in a row. We’re improving each game and should be winning this game with the chances we’ve created. If we’re still struggling by Christmas then start complaining.
