C'mon Northern Ireland score before half-time and Georgia will fold.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Georgia

Kochorashvili, already on a yellow, hauls down Donley about 25 yards out.

There's no second yellow but this is in a great position. Price and Devenny stand over it.

There was a brief check for a penalty but it was whisked off the screen as quickly as it appeared.

Tom Atcheson can't believe it as he gives away a free-kick on the edge of the Georgian box, when he felt it should go the other way.

    We're into one extra minute.

Northern Ireland look close to scoring, surely not long until they find a goal

That's a massive let-off for Georgia. Patrick Kelly, I wonder if he can get a shot off and then he only sees the run of Jamie Donley when Isaac Price was the better option.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Georgia

A great chance but Northern Ireland can't take it.

A superb ball from Hume is beyond the reach of Kochorashvili and Patrick Kelly is in on goal.

He was almost caught in two minds about whether to shoot or cross to Donley. He opts for the latter but it's cut out.

I think we need to get Isaac Price in the game a bit more.

Northern Ireland again work the ball into space but Isaac Price's cross is too close to Mamardashvili.

Tom Atcheson heads Shea Charles' delivery onto the roof of the net.

Pierce Charles arrows a delightful ball out to Trai Hume, quarter back style, and it ends in a Northern Ireland corner.

It's been a good period of sustained pressure but apart from that Ruari McConville header we haven't had anything of note that you would say we should be ahead.

  14. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Georgia

Georgia again don't deal with the throw, but Mamardashvili does well to watch Donley's spin and shot at the back post.

    Rinse and repeat.

It's cleared but not very far, and Trai Hume will launch another throw in.

Another Northern Ireland corner as Georgia make a meal of Trai Hume's throw.

To be fair, Tom Atcheson was like George Best there with that previous move. What a run.

Over in Georgia Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was asked about comparisons to George Best.

Tonight, the Kop Stand are telling him he's no Keith Gillespie...or words to that effect.

Devenny is really disappointed with himself, he just puts too much pace on the ball, if it didn't have that much pace it would have been a tap-in for Donley or Kelly.

Tom Atcheson has everything in his locker and he can now step into the game and produce a bit of magic.
