Wilson Isidor scored Haiti's opener against Peru

Haiti lost two late goals as they warmed up for their World Cup opener against Scotland with defeat by Peru.

Sunderland's Wilson Isidor gave Haiti a 16th-minute lead at Nu Stadium in Miami, finishing in the box from Louicius Deedson's pass.

Peru levelled in the 81st minute through Renzo Garces, who scored on the rebound after Fabio Gruber's header from a corner had been saved.

And Peru's winner also came from a corner, with the ball breaking kindly to Jairo Velez for a powerful strike.

Sebastien Migne's Haiti had beaten New Zealand 4-0 in their previous friendly match and, after facing Scotland on 14 June, will take on Brazil (20 June) and Morocco (24 June) in Group C.
