  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 37mins

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Jordan James is booked for Wales.

He's been involved in a couple of minor incidents, but he's yellow carded for a lunging challenge on Martin Odegaard.

A tad harsh, perhaps? That said, he did not touch the ball.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

    A lucky escape for Wales.

Sander Berge drills a ball into the Wales six-yard box from the right flank in front of the Canton End.

It hits Ben Cabango and falls kindly into the hands of Danny Ward.

The hosts breathe a sigh of relief.

Wales are on top, they just need to keep peppering that penalty area because they are winning good first contacts against the big Norwegian centre halves.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Cullen fires straight at Nyland from a tight angle.

Wales stay on the attack, and Ampadu drills over from just outside the 20-yard box.

The hosts really are pushing hard for an equaliser.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Neco Williams scuffs a shot, and Norway look a touch shaky at the back.

This is a good spell from Craig Bellamy's side, and you can hear the response from the home fans.

They're appreciating the effort from their side at the moment.

Sorba Thomas is looking the man most likely to make something happen for Wales.

The Hull winger's pace is proving an issue for Norway's replacement right-back Marcus Pedersen and his deliveries have been typically inviting.

Now Wales need to find a finishing touch.

Sorba Thomas has been our biggest threat so far with his pace down the left hand side.

He's got the full back second guessing every time he's got the ball.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Sorba Thomas takes the corner, Wales are forced back, but they recycle it back to Thomas who crosses again, although Norway clear.

Wales stay on the attack, and captain Ben Davies wins a header from a Neco Williams delivery this time, but goalkeeper Orjan Nyland leaps to gather the ball.

    Much better from Wales though.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

It's yet another teasing cross from Sorba Thomas, and Kristoffer Ajer heads behind for a corner.

Credit to the Hull City man, he's getting so much joy on the left.

If you're going to attempt to try and win the ball, you have to make sure that you win it, because otherwise Norway can open you up in three or four passes.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Norway have done well to take the sting out of this one.

They look incredibly comfortable in knocking the ball around the pitch, and it's ensuring Wales are unable to get the likes of Sorba Thomas and Dan James up the pitch.

Welsh passing is very poor. Simple balls not finding targets, wrong passes being attempted at the wrong time. A little calm is needed in these games.

    Stephen, Coventry

Norway are formidable opponents for Wales to face after their last two games. Should be an easy win.

A few groans from the Red Wall as Ethan Ampadu stands on the ball and looks for willing runners.

Wales do then get up the pitch, and Liam Cullen can't quite get on the end of a Sorba Thomas cross.

Craig Bellamy will have liked what he has seen in flashes of Wales' attack.

What are their chances of getting back into this? How do they stop Norway at the other end?

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Not so accurate this time from Arsenal man Martin Odegaard who slices his shot from just outside the Wales box.

It's an easy gather for Danny Ward.

That's one thing I think Sorba Thomas can really improve on is picking his attackers out instead of swinging the ball.

He's looked threatening though, both him and Dan James.

  18. Wales too wasteful early onpublished at 20mins

    Wales 0-1 Norway

    Gareth Vincent

Wales have had two opportunities to find a way back into this game, but twice they look to have made the wrong decision in the final third.

First Sorba Thomas tries to pass when he had the chance to shoot, then Dan James looks to feed Thomas when Lewis Koumas looked better placed.

Wales need to find a way to make moments like that count.

    Wales 0-1 Norway

Sorba Thomas' cross into the Norway box is cleared.

Jordan James then tries to be aggressive and win the ball back high up the pitch, but he fouls goal scorer Oscar Bobb.

The intent is there, but so far for Wales, the execution hasn't been.

There's good energy on the pitch, but you can really hear it here at the Cardiff City Stadium.

It's like they've missed watching their team play.
