Jagiellonia Bialystok head coach Adrian Siemieniec makes three changes from the side that lost 2-0 at home to Widzew Lodz on Sunday, with former Celtic centre-half Yuki Kobayashi and captain Taras Romanczuk recovering from knocks to start.

Romanczuk, who was unused on the bench in that game in the Polish top flight, returns to midfield, with former Porto wide man Rodrigo Conceicao and former Oxford United forward Nic Prelec also starting.

Youssuf Sylla, Eryk Kozlowski and on-loan Lens forward Jeremy Agbonifo drop to the bench.

I think when you're Hibs, especially in an away game in Europe, most importantly you don't want the opposition to be playing through the heart of your midfield, guys start running in behind and you're getting dragged all over the place.

I think if you're Hibs, you'll be comfortable allowing the ball to go wide.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes is wary of Jagiellonia on the counter but thinks his side will win if they can cope with that.

"We have got to be brave and be bold with our selection," he tells BBC Scotland.

"We don't want to waste the first half. In our three games, our second half has been better.

"We have a couple of positions causing problems, but we have a talented team there and, if we can get the crowd into it and get the initiative going, we should be OK.

"We could all do with a win."

I think that tells you that when they've looked at Hibs, they know they've got that height advantage in there, so they're trying to probe and create a chance from a different angle.

Motherwell manager Alfred Johansson tells BBC Scotland: "Tom [Sparrow] got a knock against Falkirk, in his back, he's not ready to play today but he won't be long.

"We'll have to assess day by day but he didn't make it today.

"We've been making a lot of changes in all the games because we have so many of them and also some players who have not quite been up to speed and ready to play 90 minutes.

Alfred Johansson joking with the media is probably a sign he is loving life in Scotland after making an unbeaten start as Motherwell boss.

A draw in Helsinki last Thursday has set up a big night at Fir Park, with the winners of this tie progressing to a play-off with Freiburg, last season's Europa League finalists.

Motherwell have won three and drawn two of their five games under Johansson, conceding just one goal from open play.

However, Sunday's goalless draw with Falkirk highlighted a lack of cutting edge in the Lanarkshire side's attack.
