France have achieved seamless progress through this World Cup despite their manager, Didier Deschamps, flying home and missing their third game following the death of his mother.
Deschamps was back on the touchline for their win over Sweden and mobbed by his players after Kylian Mbappe's opening goal.
Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni said: "It was a tough game, but we wanted to come here and win this game, and we did it. We have to recover and get ready for the next one.
"We know what we are able to do as a team offensively and defensively. We stay focused on what we have to do as a team. We just have to keep pushing and look forward."
On Kylian Mbappe and his team-mates celebrating with Didier Deschamps: "We know that the coach is going through a lot. We are going to try to give everything to make him as happy as possible. Today we did our job."

Amid all the Kylian Mbappe brilliance, let's not forget this man.
Michael Olise was outstanding against Sweden, bringing an abundance of creativity to the France side.
His performance was enough to convince readers to vote for Olise ahead of Mbappe in the player-of-the-match poll.
He is the first player to provide five assists at a single World Cup since Germany's Thomas Haessler in 1994.
The only player on record (since 1966) to provide more at a single edition was Pele for Brazil in 1970 (6).

I still think the France defence can be got at and the midfield isn't that strong. If you somehow can find a way to keep out that fire power in attack, then you can defeat this France team.

He also now holds the record for the most goals scored in the knockout stages of the tournament (10).
Remember, Mbappe is still only 27! Imagine the records he could break by the time he hangs up his boots.

The France forward saw Erling Haaland score earlier in the day, but he leapfrogs the Norway striker with two majestic finishes.

The France national team has scored 53 goals in the World Cup since the 2014 edition, which is at least 16 more than any other nation over this period.
Second are Germany and Argentina with 37, followed by Brazil and Netherlands with 36.

We are talking about a really good generation here and I believe that this generation is as good as, if not better, than the one in 1998.
In 1998 we managed to win the World Cup and we went through really difficult games but this team look like they're controlling games. There's so much talent.

Opta suggest France have an 85.54% chance of reaching the last eight and a 67.26% chance of making it through to the semi-finals.
European champions Spain are the highest ranked team in France's half of the draw, with a potential match between those two in the last four.
Again, France are favourites to progress from that, with a 45.71% chance of making it to the final.
Argentina are their closest challengers, with a 15.11% of defending their title, but France's chances of winning a third world title are double that, at 30.09%.

That is a real statement [against Sweden]. We know they are the favourites for the tournament. What we saw there was precision and devastation.
That [front] four that started the game - they will cause nightmares for every single defender in the tournament and I don't know how they stop that to be fair.
A level above. Brazil won in the last minute. Germany and Holland have gone out. They are showing everyone else in this round how to do it.
The rest are looking at them thinking: 'That is the level we have got to get to.'

I am in a good mood.
The way this team plays going forward with the ball is pretty incredible. Mbappe, Barcola and Olise - the way they play with each other and together is pretty special.
Four wins in four, you obviously take that.
There's still things to work on and correct, but the last time we had four for four we won the World Cup in 1998.
It's a good omen for now.

They play Paraguay next, in Philadelphia on Saturday (22:00 BST).
That will be 4 July - American Independence Day - in the city where the Declaration of Independence was signed, 250 years ago.
America is planning a party to end all parties, but expect the patriotic cheers to be mixed with cries of "Vive la France!"

Didier Deschamps' talented unit are favourites to win the World Cup for a reason.
And they showed it against Sweden in New Jersey, sweeping past Graham Potter's side thanks to another two goals from Kylian Mbappe and one from Bradley Barcola.

We have been bringing you the amazing scenes from Mexico City, where fans are probably still partying into the early hours following Mexico's first win in the knockout stages of a World Cup in 40 years.
Supporters of the co-hosts are getting pretty excited, and who can blame them?
Mexico await either England or DR Congo in the last-16, with that match also to be played at Azteca Stadium on Sunday (Monday, 01:00 BST).
We are now moving onto another nation with reasons to be excited - France.

"In my dreams we are going to win the World Cup. Our expectations were just to play all the games in Mexico, but realistically advance and or lose in this game [the forthcoming last-16 tie against either England or DR Congo].
"But just the way we are playing now, our expectations have gone up."
