Leeds had a couple of flashes but have been second best. A frustrating half in more ways than one for them as Gabriel Gudmundsson went off with an injury.

Liverpool are firmly on course to wrap up their USA tour with three wins from three.

Plenty of positives from that first half - goals for Luke Chambers and Florian Wirtz on his return, while midfielder Trey Nyoni is catching the eye with his performance.

The whistle goes for half time with Liverpool deservedly in front and in control.

Strong hit by Anton Stach as we enter four minutes of first-half stoppage time and Giorgi Mamardashvili has to dive to push clear.

This is a very dry, patchy pitch and it perhaps plays its part in scuppering a Leeds attack as a ball through the defence to Lukas Nmecha doesn't quite have the pace on it the Leeds forward was anticipating.

Liverpool's best half of the tour so far. They are moving the ball around really well and that is a wonderful team goal. A word too for Trey Nyoni, who continues to impress on this tour.

Rio Ngumoha plays a really dangerous ball across the face of goal, it just needs a touch from a Liverpool player and it is 2-0, but no-one is able to connect.

Leeds have a corner after a good run by Dan James. The ball is sent into the box and Sebastiaan Bornauw, who has only just come on, connects with it, but his header is blocked.

Leeds make the change as Gabriel Gudmundsson goes off and is replaced by Sebastiaan Bornauw. No point taking any risks for a friendly.

Gabriel Gudmundsson is sat on grass inside the Leeds box clutching the back of his leg. It looks like he is going to have to go off this time.

Good play from Kieran Morrison, first to slide a clever ball into the box for Alexander Isak and then to send a decent cross to the far post when he gets the ball back from Isak.

Just over 15 minutes to go until half time. Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak are due to get just these first 45 minutes to gain a bit of sharpness.

Wirtz plays a great ball into the box for Rio Ngumoha to run onto but the Leeds defence manages to deal with the danger just in time.

A first real sign of the Alexander Isak we know there. It was a great touch and burst of pace to get past Tarik Muharemovic but thankfully for Leeds, Joe Rodon got to the ball just in time.

Great work by Lukas Nmecha as he controls the ball on the edge of the Liverpool box and manages to get a shot away despite plenty of red shirts around him, but he sweeps his effort just wide.

Dominik Szoboszlai sends the free-kick into the box. It is headed away but only to Rio Ngumoha, who then loses possession as he attempts to dart past a Leeds player.

Good run by Jeremie Frimpong before he gets pulled back by Ao Tanaka, who is then booked.
