Tom Weal has joined Leicester City as the League One club's new first-team goalkeeping coach.

He left fellow League One club MK Dons to become part of Russell Martin's coaching staff.

Weal rejoined Milton Keynes at the start of the 2025-26 season, external having been part of the Sunderland coaching set-up when the Black Cats won promotion to the Premier League, before helping Paul Warne's side finish second in League Two.

He has also previously coached at Huddersfield Town, Nottingham Forest, Norwich City, Notts County and Carlisle United.

MK Dons have named former Rotherham United goalkeeper and coach Andy Warrington as Weal's replacement.
