Port Vale have signed West Ham goalkeeper Mason Terry on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old stopper spent last season on loan with National League side Braintree Town, where he picked up the supporters' player of the year award.

The Valiants could offer Terry his debut in the English Football League, having previously also played in the National League South with Hornchurch and for West Ham's youth teams.

Terry is the second goalkeeper to head to Vale Park this summer after Barnsley's Jackson Smith joined the side in June.
