Eastleigh sign Sidwell on loan from Wimbledon

National League side Eastleigh have signed AFC Wimbledon midfielder Harry Sidwell on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has also signed a new one-year deal with his parent club, with the option of a further year.

His is the son of ex Reading, Chelsea, Fulham and Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell and has one first-team appearance for Wimbledon to his name.

Sidwell has had loan spells with Enfield Town, Dagenham & Redbridge and Dorking Wanderers.

"I want to perform as best as I can for the team, finish as high as possible in the league, contribute with goals and assists, and also do the defensive work," he told Eastleigh's official website.
