Five more members of Barrow's backroom team have departed following the club's relegation from League Two.

Assistant head coaches Simon Ireland and Graham Coughlan, first-team coach David Worrall, goalkeeping coach Ali Uzunhasanoglu and head of medical Karly Bland have left with immediate effect.

This news comes one day after it was announced that chief executive Iain Wood was leaving the club.

The Bluebirds' drop to the National League was confirmed following their 2-1 loss to Newport County on Saturday.

Barrow's owners have promised to make changes for next season, with this latest decision part of a process of "resetting and realigning", external the club.

Former Bristol Rovers and Newport County boss Coughlan, meanwhile, has since been appointed as head coach at Irish top-flight side Waterford.
