Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway said there is nothing wrong with his side that a goal or three points will not put right.

The Robins are without a win in their past four games, with their last victory coming on five weeks ago on 5 September.

They host Crewe at the County Ground on Saturday, where by comparison they have performed well this season winning three of their four games so far.

"It's all about trying to get us to learn how to win games again and not get too up not get too down and keep encouraging," Holloway told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

"For me that communication has to be so much better, that's what I've told them after today you've got not just talk but you've got to give them information, time to put a message on the ball.

"Are we looking really confident? No. Could we do a lot better? Yeah. Ain't nothing that a goal wouldn't put right, ain't nothing that a win wouldn't put right, that's what we need right now."

Holloway called himself a "dead man walking" prior to their trip to Rochdale last weekend, which they went on to lose 1-0, as they contented with an injury crisis that saw 13 players unavailable.

A week on however they are boosted by the return of a number of players.

Matty Virtue, Louis Millard, Paul Glatzel amd Joe Snowdon are all in contention to play in some form as they come back from injuries, while Mitch Clark is available after serving a suspension and Sam Inwood is back from international duty with Northern Ireland.

"The more I get back, the better choices I've got," Holloway added.

"The more crosses we'll get if we've got two full-backs. And Mitch is fit, Snowy's fit, so if Mitch can't play the whole game I can put him on and John McGregor's back out there so things are on the mend - it's just the understanding of it.

"That's what I have to do, I have to give you an understanding of how difficult things could be, so that's why I'm asking for understanding and encouragement."
