Colchester United have confirmed the signing of experienced central defender Sean Raggett following his departure from Rotherham United.
The 32-year-old was one of 11 players confirmed to be departing the Millers in May after their relegation to League Two last season.
Raggett began his career at hometown club Gillingham before a six-year spell at Dover Athletic.
He scored the winning goal in Lincoln City's famous 1-0 FA Cup victory at Burnley as the Imps became the first non-league outfit to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for 103 years.
Raggett moved to Portsmouth in 2020 and was part of the side that won the League One title four years later, making 239 appearances in total for the club.
