Doncaster Rovers have re-signed former striker Alfie May on a season-long loan from fellow League One side Huddersfield Town.
The 32-year-old turned out for Doncaster between 2017 and 2020, making a total of 110 appearances and scoring 23 goals.
A prolific goalscorer in the third tier, May was the league's top scorer for Charlton in 2023-24 with 23 goals and he went on to score 43 league goals for Cheltenham across the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
He joined Birmingham City in 2024 and scored 16 goals in 44 appearances as they won the League One title before signing for Huddersfield last summer, making 40 appearances and scoring seven goals.
"Coming back feels like home, it's a club that means a lot to me," he said.
"They took me out of non-league and put me on a pathway and I never looked back."
