Gateshead kept their play-off charge on course as they extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a 2-1 National League win over 10-man Barnet.
The Bees took a 24th-minute lead when Shaq Coulthirst played in Ephron Mason-Clark and he made no mistake in beating Aynsley Pears.
Gateshead were almost level four minutes later as Steven Rigg latched onto Connor Thomson's header and beat Barnet goalkeeper Mark Cousins but saw the ball come back off a post and then sent the follow-up wide.
Barnet were reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half-time when Coulthirst was dismissed for a second yellow card after being cautioned for simulation.
The home side were level three minutes into the second half when Greg Olley got on the end of a cross from Thomson to slide the ball into the corner of the net.
Tom White then won it in the 72nd minute when he cut inside and curled home from the edge of the box.
