    Kieran Parmley

121 is the highest score successfully defended in a Women's Hundred game at Lord's, with Oval Invincibles bowling out Southern Brave for 73 to win the 2021 final.

  2. Sunrisers 84-8published at 80 balls

Hannah Baker joins Kate Cross in the middle and Sunrisers might now just be trying to last the 100 balls.

They've got another 20 to go and, somehow, have to attempt to get up to a total that gives them something to bowl at.

Trent Rockets have been excellent in the field.

Dani Gibson knows. Sunrisers have just had one of those batting performances. Nerves?

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 77 balls

    Gibson c Garth b Gardner 22 (Sunrisers 82-8)

    Dani Gibson's fun is over.

It was there to be hit again, much too wide, but Gibson thrashes it straight to Kim Garth at point.

Ash Gardner has her first wicket of this final.

  5. Sunrisers 82-7published at 76 balls

Dani Gibson nails another four, this time pouncing on a long hop from Ash Gardner.

    Very handy runs.

If ever Sunrisers needed a captain's knock from Dani Gibson it is now...

  7. Sunrisers 78-7published at 75 balls

Good running from Dani Gibson to get back for two after slapping the ball out to deep cover.

Now back-to-back boundaries! First four leg byes as Kim Garth strays onto the pads then, when the bowler errs again, a firm pull shot from Gibson that races away behind square.

  8. Sunrisers 67-7published at 70 balls

Georgia Adams rattles through another five balls with just four from it.

Rockets are sticking with pace off for now and why not? It's working a treat.

Well, as I say that, here comes the pace of Kim Garth.

  9. Sunrisers 63-7published at 65 balls

Kate Cross is the new batter with Sunrisers Leeds is a whole world of trouble.

They have 35 balls to try and get themselves to something even vaguely competitive.

Now would be a pretty good time for Dani Gibson to prove the 190k price tag...

It's a beautiful piece of bowling. Trent Rockets are ripping through here.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 61 balls

    Carter b Bates 0 (Sunrisers 62-7)

This could be over very quickly...

Samantha Bates with a beautiful delivery that drifts back in to Darcey Carter, almost like an in-swinger, it when so much, and Darcey Carter plays all round it.

Too full for the drive Carter attempted and the ball skids through to hit middle stump.

Darcey Carter opens for Scotland and Lancashire, and is now in at eight for the Sunrisers...

  14. Sunrisers 62-6published at 60 balls

Well, there's something for Sunrisers Leeds to cheer... Dani Gibson hits the last ball of Georgia Elwiss' five over mid-off and away for four.

Every run is valuable for them now.

They often say don't run on a misfield. Adams fumbled the ball but had the awareness.

Everything Trent Rockets touch turns to gold.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 57 balls

Jonassen run out (Adams) 0 (Sunrisers 58-6)

Sunrisers Leeds are crumbling at Lord's.

Jess Jonassen pushes the ball to the left of extra cover, sees Georgia Adams dive for it but calls for the single.

But Adams makes the stop, scoops up the ball and gets it in to Georgia Elwiss, who whips off the bails with Jonassen an inch or two short of her ground.

Great captaincy from Ash Gardner. Dangling the carrot, keeping the field in and asking Annabel Sutherland if she still wanted to take on that shot.

What a clever little bit of bowling, but was that necessary from Sutherland?

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 54 balls

Sutherland st Mooney b Adams 25 (Sunrisers 58-5)

It goes from bad to worse from Sunrisers Leeds - and it's brilliant bowling from Georgia Adams!

So clever from the spinner as she sees Annabel Sutherland coming at her, drags her length back slightly and gets the ball to turn down the slope and beat the edge.

Sutherland was expecting the standard offie but it went the other way and it's a straightforward stumping for Beth Mooney.
