    Neal c Carson b Unadkat 24 (Sussex v Hants 184-9)

    Hampshire nine down.

Andrew Neal had played well for some useful runs from number nine but Jaydev Unadkat, round the wicket, gets one to bounce and take a thick edge to gully.

Leics v Yorks 185 all out

The last Yorkshire wicket has brought tea at Leicester.

It will no doubt taste mighty good for the hosts.

Have Kent lost since the social media ban was imposed? Genius work from Hollioake

    Jonny Jones, Maidstone

    An excellent question, Jonny.

Their Championship record since said ban reads, played four, won three, drawn one.

It may well be a stroke of genius from Adam Hollioake!

    Derbyshire 32-1 v Lancashire 161

Watchful stuff from Luis Reece and Matthew Montgomery as they try to blunt the Lancashire new-ball bowling.

And they have seen off five overs from Jimmy Anderson for a start and Derbyshire are already less than 130 runs behind the visitors' limp 161.

    A 14th first-class century for Ricardo Vasconcelos.

It's his third 100 of the season with 13 fours and two sixes after he was dropped off the bowling of Ben Stokes when on 13 earlier this morning.

There looks to be plenty more runs out there if he wants them as well.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15:37 BST

    Pretorius c and b Suthar 15 (Somerset 191-9 v Warks)

Migael Pretorius trudges back to the pavilion with head bowed as he becomes Manav Suthar's second victim.

It's not the best ball in the world but Pretorius smacks it straight back at the spinner who takes a comfortable catch.

Jake Ball is Somerset's last hope.

  7. wicket

YORKSHIRE ALL OUT FOR 185published at 15:36 BST

    White lbw b Ahmed 0 (Leics v Yorks 185)

Two wickets in two balls for Rehan Ahmed and that's that.

The England spinner angles one n from around the wicket and traps Jack White in froint for a golden duck.

Leicestershire will be delighted with that after losing the toss.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15:33 BST

    Ali lbw b Ahmed 23 (Leics v Yorks 185-9)

    Yorkshire on the brink.

Rehan Ahmed strikes with just his seventh ball as Hassan Ali looks to sweep again but misses and is pinned in front.

    Jack White is last man.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15:32 BST

    Prest b Coles 49 (Sussex v Hants 170-8)

With Tom Prest going well, Hampshire still had ambitions to cobble together a useful number.

But Prest has gone, cleaned up by a quicker ball from James Coles. It’s fired in and rushes through Prest playing back and trying to force away on the offside.

    Sussex almost through now.

  11. wicket

ESSEX ALL OUT FOR 184published at 15:31 BST

    Snater b Patterson-White 31 (Essex 184 v Notts)

The fun is over for Shane Snater.

He goes for an ugly looking swipe and is bowled by Liam Patterson-White who finishes with a career-best return of 6-43.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15:30 BST

    Hill c Cox b Patel 42 (Leics v Yorks 183-8)

Spin at both ends for the first time today at Grace Road as Rehan Ahmed gets his first over of the match.

Hassan Ali connects with a sweep to Ahmed's fifth ball and it beats Lewis Hill at backward square leg and runs for four.

Ajaz Patel cointinues at the other end and is launched for a boundary by George Hill.

But next ball he's gone! Hill tries to cut but is beaten by a flatter, quicker ball and edges through to wicketkeeper Ben Cox.

    Dan Moriarty is in.

    Essex 184-9 v Notts

Shane Snater smacks his third six of the innings and the third off Liam Patterson-White.

Nice and straight, it rattles into the seats of the Sir Alastair Cook stand.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15:29 BST

    Compton c Cracknell b Helm 53 (Kent 158-2 v Middlesex)

Ben Compton's watchful innings is brought to an end by a fine delivery from Tom Helm.

Coming round the wicket to the leftie, Helm induces an edge and that is a much-needed wicket on a hot day at Canterbury.

Both openers get into the fifties, but can't go bigger.

Jamie Porter is the last man in for Essex.

  17. wicket

    Bracey c Roderick b Swanepoel 1 (Worcs v Glos 145-4)

Beyers Swanepoel is doing a great job for his team here, taking two quick wickets with the old ball in the afternoon sun.

That delivery is kryptonite to a left-hander as angling across, James Bracey can only be tempted into playing and he nicks behind.

From 129-2, Worcestershire will feel right back in the game.

  18. Postpublished at 15:16 BST

    Somerset 171-8 v Warks

Lewis Goldsworthy steps down the wicket and plants Manav Suthar over midwicket for four more, to go to 70.

The spinner almost exacts swift revenge as he slides a beauty past the outside edge.

    Glam 142-6 v Surrey

There’s an awful lot to do after being plunged to 79-6 but Chris Cooke and Mason Crane are fighting back for Glamorgan.

The pair have a half-century stand in only 62 balls.

Cooke takes his seventh boundary by pulling a rank long hop from Indian legger Rahul Chahar for four.

Another pathetic batting display by Hampshire

    Ian, UK

Only three batting points for Hampshire all season - not difficult to see why they are in the bottom two in Division One.
