My son and I are excited to watch this match. I picked him from the school and waiting for the weather to settle down. We live in Wootton, a few miles away from the stadium.
Alex Hartley Former England bowler on Test Match Special
When Sophie Ecclestone going to be fit, she's going to play. She's one of the best, if not one of the best bowlers in the world.
I feel a bit for Jodi Grewcock, opens the batting in a positions she wouldn't normally do. The talk of the town was the fact she's a left-hander. Maia Bouchier is probably one of the only batters in the first ODI to score runs, so she keeps her place but Grewcock, the youngster, misses out.
Tilly Corteen-Coleman keeps her pace. She bowled fantastically well. She looked like she belonged on the international stage, so her and Ecclestone together I'm looking forward to seeing.
But only the one seamer for England is interesting.
England captain Charlie Dean: "I think we would've had a bowl as well, with a bit of rain around try and get out there as a team, but we're ready to bat.
"I'm hoping that we can put in a really complete performance today. Winning a game like that [on Sunday] when you're potentially not at your best is really important."
On team changes: "Sophie Ecclestone is coming in for Lauren Filer and Jodi Grewcock is going to miss out. Alice Capsey comes in for her. The shortened game plays it's hand there. I'm sure Jodie will be back as the games continue."
New Zealand captain Melie Kerr: "We're going to have a bowl, just with the rain around if we're going to have to come on and off knowing what we need to chase."
On what they've been doing during the rain delay: "A few games, a few quizzes. Just a bit frustrating and out of our control. It's cricket and hopefully we can get a bit of a game now.
"We're going with the same 11 today. Back the group on the park."
