  1. 'An enthralling 15 days of cricket'published at 13:51 GMT

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma: "The crowd added the extra sauce to the game and I'm glad they came out and saw a good performance. Rabada got everything going today and from there we managed to keep a grip on things. Our bowling attack has been the backbone of our team and is a big part of why we're successful.

"It's been an enthralling 15 days of cricket. We have seen two quality sides exploiting each other's weaknesses. At times we were in awe of Pat Cummins and his team but we found the South African values of resilience."

What a fantastic advert for Test cricket - an absolutely excellent series.

  3. 'We didn't give ourselves a chance'published at 13:49 GMT

Australia captain Pat Cummins: "It [the Test] really ebbed and flowed. After a hot start we did brilliantly to take 10 wickets on day one. It was really tough work out there yesterday. A couple of partnerships they put on made chasing today a pretty tough task.

"Within the first hour today the game was away from us. We didn't give ourselves a chance.

"We are a really good side. Tough opponents away from home, it is always really difficult. We will have a couple of weeks to digest. Overall, relatively happy with how we are going."

I think Warner's criticism is over the top. The Australian team have been getting decent results and have had one bad innings on a pitch doing plenty against very good bowlers. Easy for Broad's bunny to criticise from the sidelines.

An emotional South Africa spinner Simon Harmer after his career-best 6-16: "It was just dealing with expectation, putting that to one side and understanding what I needed to do - getting the ball in the right areas as often as I could.

"The biggest thing was just trying to get the win today and it all worked out alright.

"I don't think I would change my journey for anything."

South Africa's man of the series Marco Jansen: "It was a very intense series with lots of pressure, ebbs and flows. It was an awesome series to be a part of. It's taken a lot out of me."

This is why Test cricket is still the best in the world. Five days of fantastic cricket. Will 250 be enough.. will 300? Then comes Simon Harmer. Absolutely amazing as a neutral. That's why we love the game.

  9. Warner labels Australia 'terrible', 'un-Australian' and 'utterly disgraceful'published at 13:32 GMT

David Warner has been giving his thoughts about this Australia performance over on Fox Sports. Now out of the team, he has not held back.

"It is terrible," he said. "It is un-Australian. There is no fight whatsoever.

"It is disgraceful. Yes, Matt Renshaw was burgled down the leg side. I think it is deplorable.

"The batters have let the bowlers down all series. Renshaw showed fight in that first Test but I think the batters have been utterly disgraceful."

While we wait to hear what the captains say, check out Matthew Henry's match report which starts off with David Warner criticising the Australians.

Australia began the day needing 288 to win and South Africa 10 wickets. There was only one winner once Kagiso Rabada took two wickets in the first over, though.

Marnus Labuschagne was one of those victims, with only Cameron Green, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon offering any resistance.

Simon Harmer finished with 6-16 off 21.1 overs. The tourists hardly laid a glove on him.

Fantastic result for world cricket. Going to be the beginning of the end for some of the all-time greats. Hazlewood for one. Lyon may be one more series. Starc seems to never fail to deliver.

Being able to bat for more than 100 overs is crucial. Both these sides do it frequently; England hardly ever.
