Danni Wyatt-Hodge is just toying with West Indies now.

With six overs left, England should be looking at 180/190. I think if you go near 200 with this West Indies team, it will be a big task for them.

England will really be putting the foot on the gas now.

    Close!

Heather Knight survives a tight run out chance after Danni Wyatt-Hodge's drive was well saved by Hayley Matthews at cover, and there was a bit of hesitation between the two. But Matthews had to throw whilst on the move, and it was comfortably wide.

Wyatt-Hodge responds by whacking the last ball of the over down the ground for another four - a lovely way to take us to the second drinks' break.

I think this tactic from West Indies has run its course. It has become too predictable.

Wide outside off stump again but Danni Wyatt-Hodge can get into position so early, and slog sweeps for a one-bounce four.

  4. Eng 116-3published at 13 overs

    Poor bowling, again.

Alleyne bowls a full toss on Heather Knight's leg stump and she just has to help it on its way.

I think Heather Knight is under pressure here - could England have thrown Freya Kemp and Danni Gibson in to keep the momemtum going?

Despite that Capsey dismissal, England remain in control according to WinViz.

West Indies just haven't been able to capitalise on the pressure whenever they've taken a wicket.

Karishma Ramharack gives Heather Knight a freebie down the leg side to get off the mark with a sweep for four.

That probably wasn't the best option for Alice Capsey there, she went for the big strike.

Alice Capsey looks to the sky in frustration as she picks out long-off.

She'd hit a glorious reverse sweep for four earlier in the over, and she actually gets hold of this one quite nicely but it just doesn't have the distance, and Chinelle Henry takes a simple catch.

    Heather Knight joins Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

A second half-century of the tournament for Danni Wyatt-Hodge, after her stunning century in England's opener.

32 balls and six fours. Well played.

When Danni Wyatt-Hodge gets those lofted drives right, though, it is a delight to watch.

She skips down the pitch and strikes the ball for another boundary and moves to 49.

West Indies' spinners keep throwing the ball wider and wider of Wyatt-Hodge's off stump. Any wider and they'll be on to the practice pitches.

It's working, though, as the boundaries have dried up and Capsey and Wyatt-Hodge are having to be very alert with their running.

England's running between the wickets has been quite exemplary in this tournament so far. They have run a double once every 11 balls on average; only Scotland have had a better frequency of doubles (once every nine balls).

  14. Eng 86-2published at 10 overs

England are in a very strong position at halfway.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge has 39 from 26 balls and Capsey has 21 off 18. They've built a nice platform, and I wonder if Charlotte Edwards is thinking about sending Freya Kemp or Dani Gibson in next if the partnership keeps growing.

England have punished anything short today by the West Indian bowlers. They have now scored 31 runs off the pull shot at a strike-rate of above 250 - their most productive shot of the innings so far.

  16. 79-2published at 9 overs

After Alice Capsey whacks a first first ball, West Indies continue their tactic of challenging Danni Wyatt-Hodge outside the off stump - but she changes tactic by stepping across and peppering the leg side boundary instead.

She keeps the fielders busy and can't get through. A nice battle is building between the England opener and the spinners.

  17. Eng 69-2published at 8 overs

Good recovery from Matthews, just four singles from the rest of the over.

Alice Capsey gets a little lucky with a reverse sweep that lands just in front of the fielder at short third.

Despite my doubts earlier, the crowd has grown now and is pretty good given the situation.

  19. Eng 65-2published at 7.1 overs

Classic Danni Wyatt-Hodge, driving up and over cover for four.

Hayley Matthews has her hands on her head. It's a huge strength of the England opener's, but they seem to have identified it as a wicket opportunity as well.

  20. Eng 61-2published at 7 overs

Tidy start from Aaliyah Alleyne after the break, as Capsey and Wyatt-Hodge can only rotate singles with the field spread back.
