Pakistan seamer Ali added to Notts T20 Blast side

Pakistan seamer Mohammad Ali has joined Nottinghamshire early and will now be part of the Outlaws' T20 Blast campaign.
The 33-year-old has been added to Notts' side on the eve of the of the new competition after former Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle pulled out of his proposed move for personal reasons in April.
Ali was initially set to spend just two months at Trent Bridge, playing in the One-Day Cup and the final six matches of their County Championship title defence.
Ali, who has featured eight times in all formats at international level for Pakistan, finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the most recent Pakistan Super League competition - taking 20 scalps for the Hyderabad Kingsmen as they finished runners-up.

Ali's move to Trent Bridge sees him reunited with Notts assistant coach Paul Franks, who he played under at Central Punjab in the 2022-23 season when they won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy - which is Pakistan's domestic first-class title - as well as the 50-over crown.
"When it became clear last month that we'd have to find another overseas player for this year's Vitality Blast, Mohammad was the obvious choice," Nottinghamshire head coach Peter Moores told the club website., external
"With his recent performances in the PSL, I'm really excited by what he can bring to our group, and Paul Franks has always spoken highly about his ability as well as his character."
Notts start their T20 Blast campaign with a home game against Yorkshire on Friday.
