Kerr wins to ensure third boxing medal for Scotland

Scotland will end the Commonwealth Games with three boxing medals after Sonny Kerr won his quarter-final on Wednesday to secure at least bronze.
The Aberdonian fight, outpointed Marion Ah Tong of Samoa in the 70kg division to move into the semi-finals, where victory would put him into the gold-medal match.
Then 21-year-old joins Caitlin Rainey (65kg) and Robert McNulty (90kg) in guaranteeing medals, with all three next in action on Friday.
However, there was disappointment for team-mates Nicholas Devlin and Lara Brown, who narrowly lost their quarter-finals at the SEC earlier in the day.
Devlin was outpointed by Owain Harris-Allan of Wales in the 60kg division - an outcome he had no quarrel with - just half an hour after Brown suffered the same fate against Michaela Walsh of Northern Ireland in the in 57kg.
