More than 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories will compete in 215 medal events across 10 sports at Glasgow 2026.

Here is the daily schedule, with finals and gold-medal events in bold.

Friday, 24 July - day one (14 golds)

Day one highlights:

The first medals of the Games will be won in powerlifting.

There's the men's team final in gymnastics, and nine swimming finals with Scotland's Duncan Scott and England's Adam Ramsay-Peaty among the big names in action.

Day two highlights:

The netball competition begins with hosts Scotland playing New Zealand at the Hydro.

In gymnastics, England will look to defend their women's team title.

Another eight golds will be won in the pool, with Adam Ramsey-Peaty seeking to regain the 100m breaststroke title.

A big early showdown on the netball court, where England and Australia meet in the group stage.

The men's and women's all-around gymnastics champions will be crowned, and there are also medals to be won in weightlifting and swimming.

A total of 27 golds, including those for the fastest man and women in the Commonwealth, are on offer.

Scotland swimming favourite Duncan Scott could be heading for the podium at the Hydro if he goes in the men's 100m freestyle final.

Individual gymnastics finals include the men's vault and the women's beam.

The first day of finals in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome features a packed programme culminating in the men's and women's team sprints.

The women's 5,000m final could be the race to watch at Scotstoun, while England's Emily Campbell bids to defend her title on the final day of weightlifting.

Day eight highlights:

The men's and women's 200m finals are at Scotstoun, as well as Georgia Hunter Bell in the women's 800m final.

At the velodrome, it will be the men's keirin and head-to-head sprints, and the judo starts in the SEC Centre, with Scotland looking to better their four medals in Birmingham.
