Richards' move to Kilmarnock collapses over 'administrative error'

Dave Richards' move to Kilmarnock has fallen through after the English FA refused to grant international clearance.
Kilmarnock last week announced the signing of the 32-year-old goalkeeper, who had been a free agent since leaving Dundee United in the summer, on a contract until January.
However, the Rugby Park club have been unable to complete his registration.
"Following our announcement, which was subject to international clearance, the English FA has refused this due to an administrative error related to Dave's previous registration," said Kilmarnock.
"We share Dave's bitter disappointment about this news and thank him for his professionalism throughout. Everyone at Kilmarnock wishes him well for the future."
