Gymnast Evans seventh in balance beam final

Welsh gymnast Ruby Evans finished seventh in the balance beam final that was won by Australia's Breanna Scott.
This is not the event Evans was targeting for a medal today, that will come later in the floor at 15:40 BST.
Evans pulled out of Monday's uneven bars final as identical twins Abigail and Emily Roper created a bit of history by both winning bronze on the vault and uneven bars respectively within a couple of hours of each other.
Wales women had also finished fourth in the team event.
Also today, Elliot Vernon finished seventh in the parallel bars final at 14:50 BST and Alexander Niscoveanu will be part of the horizontal bar final at 16:20 BST.
