Magazine Editor Selma Day: ‘Mayfair has got everything’
Listed LondonerAvailable for over a year
Selma Day has been the Editor of the Mayfair Times magazine for more than 20 years. Originally from Nottingham, she knew she wanted to be a journalist from an early age, inspired in part by family friend and broadcaster Peter Sissons. After a series of jobs in editorial roles, and a break for motherhood, in 2005 she took over the Mayfair Times after her husband Adrian’s publishing company took it over. The job has given Selma something of a front-row seat to Mayfair life - from its grand hotels, restaurants and galleries to Savile Row, businesses, and the enormous changes in the area. Selma Day revealed her London favourites, memories, pet-hates and everything in between to Robert Elms on BBC Radio London.
