The amazing atmosphere of the Last Night of the Proms returned to Hyde Park on Saturday 8 September 2007.
Terry Wogan hosted a star-studded evening of live music, including performances from
Will Young,
Lesley Garrett,
Juan Diego Florez and
Mark Simpson. Not forgetting, of course, the much loved
BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by
Carl Davis.
The evening also featured a big screen link-up with the Last Night Of The Proms live from the Royal Albert Hall.
The fun started off-air at 1730, with Dick and Dom introducing a host of acts including T-Rex tribute band
T.Rextasy, rising star
RyanDan, the evergreen
Tony Hadley and poptastic singer
Chico!
