
School fire kills 11 children in Uganda
A fire at a school for visually impaired children in Uganda has killed 11 children.
Eleven children have died after a fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday at a school in Mukono, east of the Uganda’s capital, Kampala. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
We get an update on the devastating flooding that has hit parts of west and central Africa.
Chad has begun seven days of national mourning for those killed during pro-democracy protests on 20 October.
And we hear from British-born Nigerian artist, Yinka Shonibare, who explores Africa’s contribution to modernism in his latest exhibition.
